Why do I need a Gas Safety Inspection Certificate Check?
In line with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, all rental facilities in the UK are lawfully required to get a Gas Safety Certificate.

How long does it take you to carry out the inspection?
We offer same-day checks depending on the amount of appliances on the property our engineers visit. Typically, this takes an hour to complete a full inspection of the property.
What happens during the Gas Safety Inspection Certificate Check?
During an extensive gas safety check, one of our Gas Safe Registered Engineers will carry out a test to ensure that all gas equipment in your property is performing appropriately and practically without any damage. The inspection will identify whether there are any safety issues and component failures, whilst ensuring your appliances are safe to use.
Will I get given a Gas Safety Certificate?
Provided your gas appliances are safe to use, our engineer will issue you with a Gas Safety Certificate also known as a CP12.
What happens if there are issues or unsafe situations during the inspection?
At PlumbingForce, we will follow industry procedures to ensure appliances and installations are safe. In most cases, warning labels will be attached to the appliance/installation in question and a warning notice issued.
Our Gas Safe Registered Engineers can advise, quote and repair situations that are presented and get you back in operation as quickly as possible. Upon completion of the remedial works, we will issue a gas safety certificate.
Is carbon monoxide covered in your checks?
Yes, our team will help eliminate any risk of carbon monoxide poisoning in your property during our gas safety checks, and we’re happy to provide new detectors upon request.
